Hackett London Duffle Bag Range
Hackett London Duffle Bag Project
I was asked to create a move on for the classic Hackett London duffle range keeping the colour palette tight. Also ensuring the union jack was prominent throughout the range.
Using a strong combination of heavy strong cotton canvas and chocolate brown leather. With the use of such fabrics the final product not only comes together almost effortlessly but also has a strong commercial look.
When working on a new project for a brand it is imperative to ensure as a designer you interpret the brands identity correctly. As we know Hackett has a strong British Heritage to their identity, this heritage works well across all of their products from clothing to accessories. And so ensuring the final product is that of a very high standard securing future sales from a loyal and much built up customer base.
Hackett is synonymous with of course high quality product, so when I receive a new brief from such a company it is vital that the manufacturer can in turn produce such a level of quality. Of course this can sometimes to tricky to find, but once working with an established supply base you can easily keep communications open with regular skype meetings, emails and factory visits. Ensuring the clients needs and wants are met within a workable time frame.
