Marks & Spencer Babywear
M&S Tatty Teddy Babywear Project
This is an almost unisex newborn babywear project I worked on with Marks & Spencer‘s incorporating the license Tatty Teddy for the graphics.
I ensured the newborn babywear range had lovely super soft fabrics, as this is vital for the baby at such a young age along with safe fastenings that the baby can be easily taken in and out of, making it a little easier for the parent.
The shapes I used for this range are a combination of simple crew neck long sleeve tops, matching leggings, popper fronted baseball style jackets, dungarees with matching tee, the classic all in one suit, and of course bibs. I have tried to add simple styling details which have really increase the added value aspect of the garment. I also wanted to ensure this range became a real mix and match capsule collection as we know baby may not be able to wear one specific top with matching trousers at one time, so it is important all the pieces work well together again making it a little easier for the parent.
It is always interesting working with a license company also; this really lets me have a little fun with the graphics and is a great way of adding a slight twist on a brands identity.
